Good Bedding
Good Bedding but because no Petco around me carriers it I had to order it. So what was $12.99 turned into an over $30 bill, due to a service fee or something plus taxes and shipping.

Price is up and quality is down
I religiously bought these because in my opinion they’re better than regular clumping litter and the mess is to a minimum but recently the price has doubled!!? I used to pay $10 per 40lbs and now it’s 22$ ?? That’s insane! Plus the quality is so much worse, before you got decent size pellets now you’re lucky if you get a few longer ones. they’re like pebbles instead of pellets . So insane! I think it’s time for me to try some other litter. Last time I bought these I also got double taxed and I had to contact petco and they gave me a refund but not for the entire amount I was taxed which was so weird

Brown add in for compost
I have used the wood pellets in my composter to increase the amount of brown material to green kitchen scraps. Very effective in rapidly making usable compost for the garden. Has been difficult in finding large bags at a reasonable price. Very happy to have found a source at Petco.

Cheaper, longer-lasting, no-dust alternative
I go through alot of cat litter with multiple cats, about 80 lbs a month. I've heard of others using these types of horse bedding pine pellets for litter boxes, so I thought I'd try it. Was great to have the big bags delivered right to my deck, firstly. Happy to report that my cats had no issue with the change and are using this as normal. The pellets smell like fresh pine, I remove the poop daily, and the pellets break down into soft sawdust-like texture with urine. I just add a scoop of pellets on top each day, and will clean/reset the box in a week or so. So far, so good. I haven't seen any of the sawdust on my floor or the cats' paws, either. Absolutely no dust! I'm happy.

Is this made of pine? I’m looking for pine pellets like Tractor Supply that are cheap and kiln dried since I don’t have a TS near me
- They have pine in them but are not 100% pine. I really like this brand though. Been using it for our Rabbit for 2 years

Is this ok for cats?
- I would say yes, its Kiln dried(some tree oil like pine is toxic to cats unless it is Kiln dried which makes it safe,dries up the oils which is important and 100% natural so no chemicals and is made for farm animal bedding, so would be safe for cats.

- Pine cat litter and pelleted bedding for horses, chickens, etc are made from compressed wood shavings (usually pine).
