UNSAFE - DO NOT BUY - Broke on day 4 and day 24. We have two KITTENS that weigh around 10 pounds each. The first break happened just from normal use - our smallest kitten was climbing the tree and one of the “towers” collapsed where it connects to the top platform. The platform is made of really bad particle board. We contacted Petco immediately and got a refund then ordered a different tree from a very safe company. In the meantime we needed to keep this tree up and last night a second “tower” collapsed with our kitten just laying on it. The “tower” tube is made of cheap cardboard. Both times our cats could have been seriously injured - in reference to safety, this tree is poorly designed, made horribly , and made with unacceptable materials. TAKE THIS OFF THE MARKET!

Delivered in two boxes. Assembly was easy. Build is sturdy. Cat loves it. Shape is awkward.

Large boxes, high pedestals and multiple climbing routes make this cat stand outstanding and very accommodating for a 20 lb. Maine Coon.

Very sturdy and easy to put together. My 14 and 16 lb cats love it and use all the levels.

All the screws and nails gets rusty when I just opened. I keep trying to use different liquid to wash it but still does not coming off. The shipping boxes are all looks fine so I don’t think this “disaster” is because of the shipping or any other reason expect is already rusty before they put everything in the boxes. Everything look fine too but the screws are all bad and disgusting brown rusty.

My kitty (11 years old) loves his new cat tree. The quality of other brands of cat trees has declined over the years, with the one before this one lasting only a few months. This new tree is very well built, and is even taller than all previous trees, which he loves. The scratching posts on the 3rd level are nice and tall so he can really stretch. The upper platforms have rims around them so he won't topple off when sleeping (the last tree did not have rims, and he did fall once). There are only a couple of quibbles with this tree. One is that the ramp to get from the 2nd to the 3rd level is right on the edge of the platform, so he can't walk straight up or down the ramp. He has to crawl onto it from the side. The other issue is that there is no opening in the upper house that faces the window, and you cannot put it together so the opening faces which ever side you choose. If we position the tree so that the opening in the house faces the window, the ramp to climb onto the tree would be against the wall. We plan to have a carpenter investigate modifications. Other than those 2 issues, it is a perfect cat tree.

I did a lot of research before buying this and I love that the petco website allowed me to use lots of filters to find the right one. The carpet is great quality, this came together relatively easily, and it is very sturdy for my overweight (20 lb) cat. It does recommend that you lean it against a wall, and I put it in a corner of a room. It does not seem as sturdy as a stand alone especially for a larger cat like mine (prob fine for a smaller cat). Also I decided not to put the very top on since it is a very tall cat tree and it was fine without the very top pole.

Nice! Easy to assemble. Sturdy construction. Well balanced. Our two highly energetic 1+ year olds love it. Night and day... both for play and napping. The two dangling toys were torn off in minutes... lol! That could be improved.
