I sent this to a friend, & They LOVE it! Now proud owners of cat #3

This is an easy-to-assemble cat tree. It was shipped in a light cardboard box, and bound with heavy plastic bands. The cardboard was totally beat up and split open, but the contents were undamaged and complete. We chose this brand because on the manufactures website, you can order any piece as long as you have the model number, so it's repairable if something breaks. Of all the manufactures we looked at this was the only one we found where you could go to the website and order a specific piece of a given cat tree! A major selling point. We also ordered an additional platform to put food on as the dog likes cat food, and our apartment doesn't lend itself to blocking off some part for cat food. It is so nice to have a cat tree that is somewhat customizable. The bottom two bases are made of heavy-duty plywood, and the upper platforms are made of rather heavy MDF, so don't get it wet!! Supper soft and fuzzy. All uprights are covered in sisal rope, and it all appears secure. The uprights are cardboard, but appear to be exceptionally dense and thick. I was thinking I'd have trouble with it not being sturdy enough at 78 inches tall, but Simon jumps from the top tier of it to the couch seat and it barely moves. There are several place for Simon to pertch up high and look about, He likes sleeping in both the hammock (seems to be velour) and the round basket (fleece). He hasn't spent much time in the tipi or the little hidy-box. 4 stars because of a slight glitch in assembly (it looks like each of the bottom 4 posts sit exactly in a corner of the base platform, but this is NOT the case, one of the 4 is in-set and this is not described anywhere in the assembly instructions, nor adequately shown in the diagrams) and the unit should be shipped in a second box with some filling (or in a heavier box) to negate damage.

The cream color is a little more yellow than I expected but it’s a very trendy color! It was really easy to put together (I put it together alone). The cats really love it they scratch on the posts and lounge in the hammock! Great buy!

My cats kept scratching on our furniture, so I had to find them something. So glad I came across this one! It was easy to assemble, tools are included, and the size is big enough for our 3 cats.

This had horrible carpet quality. It felt so cheap and flimsy. It really didn't feel like carpet at all. It definitely isn't worth purchasing.
