[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is a fussy eater, so had to hide this in some cheese for him, but I expected that. He had softish stool for 2 days, but nothing too bad, and it seems to have worked, which is all I really care about anyway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Elanco’s offers a “quad dewormer” chewable tablet for dogs that removes four different types of worms. The packaging and literature are very clear and concise, very to the point. From dosage to storage, the back information panel answers all of the key questions around using this product. Favorably, the company advises, extensively, that a vet should be consulted to diagnose and advise treatment. The product is packaged well and appears to be a standard chewable tablet (in the shape of a little bone - cute). At this time I cannot speak to the effectiveness of the dewormer as I have thankfully not yet needed it. I will bring this product with me to my next vet appointment to discuss the safety of using it with my sweet pup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog easily took this with no problem. Easy to open package with the right dosage for a broad spectrum dewormer. Highly recommended for dogs 45 lbs and over.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog frequently eats dead animals she finds in the yard and has tested positive for worms more than once. This is a great option to have on hand so I don't have to pay a large vet bill next time she gets into trouble!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just unboxed and tried the Elanco Quad Dewormer for my big pup and I’m seriously impressed! The packaging is super clean and informative ,the box even has a clear photo of the dog on the front, and the inside flap has a full dosage chart broken down by weight for puppies/small, medium, and large dogs. No guessing! Inside you get 2 bone-shaped chewable tablets in a convenient blister pack (they’re imprinted “EC 60” cute detail). They’re beef-flavored, which is a game changer. My dog (who usually side-eyes pills) actually thought these were treats and gobbled them right up. Zero drama, zero hiding pills in cheese! This is a broad spectrum dewormer that knocks out four common intestinal parasites in one single dose: whipworms, tapeworms, hookworms, and roundworms. Perfect for peace of mind, especially if your dog loves to sniff around the yard or park. The active ingredients (praziquantel, pyrantel pamoate, and febantel) are vet-trusted and from a brand I already love (Elanco). Gave it this morning no vomiting, no diarrhea, no change in energy or appetite. He’s been his happy, zoomie self all day. I feel so much better knowing he’s protected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It only includes to tablet but it depends on how much your dog weighs and you give based on the dosage. It cute that they shape it to look like a bone shape so the dogs think its a treat. This dewormer helps with all parasites that in the body. So far it been working on my dog. Haven't seen any in the poop.

Super easy to give the medicine to my dog, who loves to eat rabbits, and contract worms. Instead of having to take her to the vet each time, these tablets are super easy to give and takes care of the worms. Highly recommend.

Yes, I recommend this product.

After my dog had runny stool with mucas for a couple of days, I was about to take her to a vet until I noticed worms. I bought this and it worked like a charm. I cut it in half, covered it in pure pumpkin and she ate it like a treat. The next evening her stool was back to normal and the worms are gone. It’s one of the few dewormers that kills 4 different types of worms. Worth the money.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

1 - 5 of 5 Questions

My dog weights 110lbs. will this be enough for him?

  1. Yes. The package contains 2 chewable tablets. The highest dose is 2 tablets for body weight 91-120 pounds.

Is this comparable/generic of Drontal?

  1. This is not generic for Drontal but it is comparable. I've used both and both are effective.

Use once or 3 days in a row?

  1. Thank you for your question. The dosage is based on the weight of the dog, and is given once unless reinfestation occurs.

what if you got the wrong weight?

  1. Thank you for your inquiry. Before administering this product, we recommend obtaining a current and accurate weight for your dog. There are several ways to do this. On a regular home scale, weight yourself, then weigh yourself again while holding the pet. Subtract your weight from the combined weight of you and the dog. Or if you have a large dog, most veterinary clinics don’t mind if you drop in and weigh your pet. Either option should give you an accurate weight. The Quad Dewormer Tablets are made to work effectively within a range of weights, as listed on the product’s description. Although these types of wormers generally have a wide margin of safety, if you dose your dog with a size designated for a larger, heavier dog, we would recommend contacting your veterinarian. If your dog is several pounds above the weight range that you treated with, the dewormer may not work effectively.

How often should you use this wormer?

  1. Woodfam Thank you for your question. Steps should be taken to control fleas and rodents on the premises in order to prevent reinfection; otherwise, retreatment will be necessary. If reinfection occurs, tapeworm segments may be observed within one month of the initial treatment, which then you may re give the medication to your pet.
