Almost KILLED Kitty
The lid was on a hinge on one side of the box. The other side of the lid had a lip that is held by the edge of the box. Granted my cat was freaking out about the cone on his head, he jumped on top of the litterbox and the lid fell through. Through the crack, his body fell under the lid--between the lip of the lid and the wall of the box. His head was above the lid. If we lifted the lid, it would've pinched his head. We couldn't push the lid down because his body was under there. This was a death trap, right before my eyes. If my partner wasn't there to keep me calm and figure it out, I don't even want to know how this could've ended up. Or worse, what if we weren't there to save our cat? Terrible design.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Has a MAJOR flaw
The upsides are 1- there are holes in the lid so that makes it so that some litter falls off your cat's paws and back into the litterbox when they jump on it. and 2- there is a raised part on the side of the hole closest to the edge of the litterbox, which kind of forces them more to jump on the lid instead of straight out of the litterbox. 3- you can just pivot the lid upwards until it stops when you want to clean out the litterbox, instead of having to take the lid completely off or reach down in through the big top hole. a HUGE downside, IF you have a cat who pees straight backwards instead of down (like mine does, which is why a top entry litter box was a necessity), is that there is a whiskers design on the front of the litter box and it is actually HOLES in the litter box in the shape of whiskers rather than a design printed onto the litterbox, and so my cat's pee sometimes hits it and then SPRAYS out of the litterbox UGH!!!! It is such a mess. they need to fix this major flaw. Another downside is that this is plastic. it is 2026, idk why there aren't any top entry litter boxes that are made from stainless steel. come on brands!

Litter Box
Best ever Litter box. Doesn’t take up a lot of space. Easy lift up lid to clean the litter and also while refreshing with new litter. Our cat (Daniel) loves the privacy of this box. And I love it because the lid has a design that keeps the litter off the floor. Great design. 🐈

Fantastic For Elevated Urinators
We have been through half a dozen different litter boxes in the past year trying to find something that would work for our cat who one day decided she is going to stand when she pees. Everything leaked urine in puddles on the floor. This box is perfect! We did have to tape the handle hole in the back but we are more than happy to. Absolutely no leaks, the design is cute, I love how the lid opens but stays attached for easy cleaning, and another bonus we didn't expect is how there barely ANY litter tracked out. We had two mats around previous boxes and still got litter everywhere but now we don't use any mats! Our only complaint is we didn't find this box sooner and save us months of cleaning and money. Couldn't be happier!

Super Litter Box!
I love these litter boxes! They are first of all really cute (you can't hide it so why not decorate it?) and very functional. I am also using Catit litter, which we all really like. It clumps like little rocks, doesn't stick to the litter pan too badly, and controls odor. Best of all, because of the top-loading feature, paws are de-littered when they leave the litter box, leaving very litter to track around the house. I am very pleased with Catit products!
