I've been giving Plaque Busters to my dog for a few years now. Crumps' history of products with safe ingredients is why I bought these for my dog in the first place. Recently they changed the packaging. I didn't think anything of it, until my dog started showing serious intestinal issues, culminating in severe diarrhea with blood in her stool. After multiple vet trips and two rounds of antibiotics - we started eliminating various things in her diet. Could it be the food we make her at home? Was there a bad ingredient? Did we make it wrong? Did she sneak something we dropped on the floor? Was it too much of something? NOPE. It was the Plaque Busters. With the new packaging, there were new ingredients. We didn't notice it right away because nowhere on the bag does it say "New Formula" "New Formulation" "New Recipe" - any of those things that might indicate that they had changed the ingredients in their product. But they did change the recipe and they added Liquid Smoke. Did you know that dogs can have a sensitivity to LIQUID SMOKW? Did you know that dogs with a history of sensitive stomach or gastrointestinal issues can have serious adverse reactions to liquid smoke? That it can cause vomiting, diarrhea, gastrointestinal distress, or even a pancreatitis flare? THEY SHOULD HAVE PUT ON THE FRONT OF THE PACKAGE THAT THE RECIPE HAD CHANGED. Especially for long-term customers! And especially when adding an ingredient that is dangerous to sensitive dogs - when they target and market to customers looking for natural and sensitive-animal products! I only gave my 15 pound dog 1/4 of a medium treat - and she STILL had an emergency-vet-level reaction. And according to the chart THEY provide on THEIR product, a dog between 12-27 should be perfectly fine. I've included photos of my old bag and my new bag to illustrate how poorly this is packaged. I'm MASSIVELY DISAPPOINTED in how this product has changed, how it has been labeled and packaged, and in Crumps products for the lack of caution in including this ingredient in your product. I will be leaving reviews on every site I've purchased this product, until they put an indicator on their bag that the recipe has changed. And for the safety AND RETENTION of their customers, they should seriously consider it.

Whew! That smoke smell! I don't know how my dog could stand it. My whole house smelled like it. She likes it, though. I don't know how.

I purchased these for my cat , thinking he might like them. Unfortunately they were too large and he would not chew on them. I will however use them for my dog friends who I think will love them. Plus they smell delicious.

My dogs love the Crumps Naturals Bacon flavoured Plaque Busters! We have nearly finished a bag of them and already I notice that the plaque on their teeth have improved. They can't wait to get these yummy treats. I am planning on giving them one or two a week for the foreseeable future.

My dog took one smell of the contentment in the package and decided it the product was not for her. My mistake was in ordering 3 packages thinking she would like the product. One a positive note, the Baked Beef Lung sticks are a favourite and I will be ordering more. Also searching for different products
