The Dwarf Honey Gourami is gentle, colorful, and full of charm, which is perfect for aquarists looking for a peaceful centerpiece fish in smaller planted aquariums. They are best kept in in pairs or small harems (1 male with 2-3 females) for good social behavior. As labyrinth fish, they breathe air from the surface, so ensure access to open water at the top is essential. They can thrive in planted aquariums and will show off their colors even more. The Dwarf Honey Gourami do best by being fed small portions 2 to 3 times a day with variety of foods. Provide a varied diet of flakes, live and frozen foods.
