My cat doesn't like the new formula.

Kam

My cat has been eating the creamy formula for 13 years. She does not like the change and will not eat it. I understand taking out food dye, but really, this is nothing like it used to be. This is nothing more than the Shredded Salmon Fare. Please bring back the original.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat Cyrus used to really love this at one time. It was little morsels in a good deal of sauce

Where is the creamy stuff?

Boxi

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats liked the white creany consistency of the old formula. I like the idea that artificial dyes are gone but what dye is white? Why did you take out the creamy stuff? I couldn't get any logical answer when calling Purina.

We’re sorry to hear that your cats aren't enjoying their favorite Fancy Feast Medleys Wild Salmon Florentine with Spinach in a Light Broth Gourmet Wet Cat Food as much as before. Please know that in December 2025, we began removing added colors from our Florentine recipes. As part of this update, the calorie content increased slightly from 855 kcal/kg (72 kcal/can) to 889 kcal/kg (75 kcal/can). There were no changes to the guaranteed analysis, and the feeding guidelines were only slightly revised—all while maintaining the same great taste and high quality you expect from us. Ensuring safe, high-quality products remains our top priority. We’d love to learn more about your experience and assist you further. Please give us a call at 1-800-933-0991. Our team is available Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (CT). We truly appreciate your support and look forward to speaking with you. — The Fancy Feast Team

They have changed the formula on the Florentine products and the new one is terrible. My cats won't eat it. Won't buy Purina product again.

Which ones have the white creamy broth

Leggs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trying all the different flavors of Fancy feast melodies for my 7 cat's but they only seem to like the ones in the white creamy both! Unfortunately when I buy a box of 12 not all of them in the many different 12 count boxes are all in the white creamy broth? Could you tell me if there sold that way? Is there single cans of them? I can't tell but what's available in the stores I shop from!

Thank you for reaching out and for trying so many different Fancy Feast Medleys flavors with your seven cats. It sounds like they definitely have a strong preference for the varieties with the white creamy broth! We understand how tricky it can be when the multipacks include a mix of recipes and not all of them are the ones your cats enjoy most. At this time, not all Fancy Feast Medleys recipes with the white creamy broth are sold exclusively in multipacks, and availability can vary from store to store. Some locations may offer single cans of specific flavors, while others may only carry assorted 12‑count boxes. Because store inventory can differ, checking individual cans in person or browsing online retailers may give you the best selection of single flavors. We appreciate you letting us know how your cats feel about the different varieties. If you’d like help locating specific creamy‑broth options or identifying which recipes your stores carry, we’d be happy to assist further. When time permits, please reach out to us directly at https://www.purina.com/contact-us. - The Fancy Feast Team

Wish it was healthier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not sure how healthy are the ingredients used on these cans. I wish the ingredient list was transparent. Also, availability of food with less carbohydrates for diabetic cats would be fantastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats loved it. I was surprised because I didn’t think they would enjoy the bit of spinach, but they enjoyed the spinach inside the fancy feast.

New Formula :( Causes allergies now

Abdullah

The new formula with batch number starting with 533 causes my cat allergies; it's more liquid and larger chunks. Cat was scratching ear and bleeding the nights she had that batch number. Took me 3 weeks to figure out the pattern. New formula batch 531 is fine, less liquid and smaller chunks; no allergies. All ingredients listed are the same on the can but something is definitely different. Now i need to find new food since 533 seems to be the most recent batch :(
