Working great for my cat's thyroid condition, and love the convenience of having refills delivered to my home.

This seems to work--my cat's vomiting has diminished considerably and she seems to be gaining weight. I have to mix it into her food to get her to take it, and I have to give it to her twice a day for the rest of her life. But if it keeps her healthy, it's worth it.

This product works great for me cat. So far no side effects as I know. She’s been on it for over a year. I did notice every now and then she gets constipated. Not sure if the meds cause it or not. Pull is so small, it’s easy to administer.

Our cat takes these twice a day, while the 2.5 tab dose is great to have for the mornings, her evening 1/2 tab dosage makes it tricky, as there's a warning not to cut these (likely because of the way they make them with the coating). Our vet said it's really not that big of a deal but wish there wasn't a need for that warning and that the pills could be manufactured so that there was no issue. (Also the drug can be harmful to a developing fetus, so that's a concern for us too.)Our cat eats them up in a pill pocket with no problems so the coating isn't a factor. I'm sure it helps for some, of course. It's helping our old girl, however, so we're pretty happy with it!

My cat has had hyperthyroidism for a few years. He was losing weight rapidly despite a very good appetite. Since he also has mild kidney disease the radioactive treatment is not a good option for him. I am sure that this med along with switching his diet to all wet food has added many years to his life. He also seems more comfortable and satisfied with life. The 2.5 mg tablets make dosing much easier since his dosage is low. He gets a full pill am and a half pill pm. In the past, I had to cut the 5 mg into quarters and that is not easy. The pills are small and kind of slick but brightly colored so easy to find if you drop one. By making medicine time a very calm and lovey dovey event, my Siamese baby will take the pill without fuss. He just thinks it is a special petting time. I had to kind of train him into that. He has slowed down but he still jumps up to the couch or the cat tree without trouble and regained most of his lost weight. The blood tests done by the vet support the efficacy of the medicine since his thyroid levels are in the normal range.
