[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter is lightweight which makes the box easy and convenient to carry carrying and pour it. The volume of it is great as it forms soil clumps. There is a small amount of dust but not excessive which is good.

What’s really impressive is how the scent is activated after scooping and mixing the litter up making cleanup fresh and pleasant. The lightweight design makes it easy to handle and clumps effortless removing all soiled littered easily. Plus it keeps my home smelling very inviting . It doesn’t leave air filled with dust and it absorbs so perfectly. With a home fulll of cats, I highly recommend this litter! Not only is it very fresh smelling and it last for weeks but it doesn’t track through the house like other litters do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Fresh Step Odor Shield Lightweight with Gain litter as a complimentary sample to test and review. Unfortunately, this was no different than any other cat litter. The clumping was barely there, and there was NO odor shield whatsoever. I was highly disappointed as I thought that with the Gain added in it, it would make a difference. It tracked everywhere, as you can see in the video.

I recently tried the Fresh Step Odor Shield Lightweight with Gain cat litter and I must say that overall it was great. Of course the first thing I noticed was that the weight of the container was significantly lighter in comparison to other litters which is great. It was much easier to lift and pour when cleaning out the litter box. The next thing was the scent. At first it can be a bit strong, especially if you are sensitive to fragrances but personally I liked it. It smells exactly like Gain laundry detergent but I can see where it may be overwhelming to people that are sensitive to fragrances. The smell does dissipate after a few days. It did perform very well with controlling the odors in between scoopings. This would be a perfect 5 star litter if it didn’t track everywhere after my cat leaves the litter box which is fairly common but I feel like since this litter is so lightweight that it stuck to her paws and tracked more than heavier weight litters. Someone told me to try adding a litter mat to help eliminate some of that. As far as the clumping aspect it performs okay but I noticed that if I scooped the litter box too soon the clumps fell apart easily so I tried waiting a little longer to scoop and it helped. My overall experience was positive and I do plan on buying this again in the future and I would recommend it to others as well.

It was much easier to clean the pee and poo. It absorbed quickly and there was pretty much no smell except the scent of the litter I will be buying this from now on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The moment I opened the cap to this Gain scented litter, I had such high hopes for it to work for us. It smelled so amazing, and although we keep our litter pan in the outdoor catio, I was relieved to have a somewhat pleasant scent to work with. While it is a good litter, it is far from the best I’ve tried unfortunately. It is extremely dusty, so I wouldn’t recommend it unless you absolutely have a lid/cover and mat for your litter pan. I think it does well masking the scent of feces and urine, however I think it could be better at absorbing and holding the urine. No matter how careful I am scooping the clumps, they break apart and basically disintegrate, mixing all the nasty urine soaked bits in with the “clean” litter. This is my biggest pet peeve with litter. I did like the lightweight, made it much easier to lift and pour. And with the screw on lid I was able to leave the container out at my catio for easy access when needing to refill/change.

It did t track too much and it did last really well at keeping odors down. This litter clumps very well to make scooping easy, and didn't have a lot of dust when poured. It was very lightweight so it was easy to carry inside and around the house as well as easier to pour. I love the scent of gain so this was great for multicat home. I would recommend this to other cat parents.
