Fill your clean litter box with 3-4 inches of Fresh Step litter. Pour litter no more than a few inches from the box OR keep the carton close to the box when pouring litter. Litter quickly forms a clump around liquid waste. Remove clumps and solids daily, and dispose of in trash. Do not flush. Add more Fresh Step clumping cat litter to refresh your litter box. Maintain level of litter at 3-4 inches.

can used litter be recycled in some way?
- Yes it can be added to old cans of paint and then taken to the dump. That's what the waste management suggested.

Thinking of trying a new litter, I'm tired of having cat litter tracked all over, even with a mat. Is this truly non tracking or is it just less tracking than other litter? Thank you
- I use mats underneath the 3 litter boxes and I find no tracking with this litter.
