NEEDS TO BE TESTED AND TAKEN OFF THE SHELVES! Gave to my dog after purchasing at my local Petco and he threw up within 2 hours- A LOT! Then I come to reviews and every one of them has sick dog. Why are you still selling this? What is the cause of the illness? I will be reporting the item to the company also.

i bought this treat for my two small dogs to share. my dog isn’t too picky and there was a smaller piece that had broken that i tried to give to him and he initially refused it. i tried again the next day and he still didn’t seem very interested in it, but eventually came around to not be wasteful lol. i intended for it to just be for him, but once i saw he was not taking too much of a liking to it i tried giving it to my other dog and she seemed to enjoy it. that same night, my male dog had vomited a lot and i was concerned and kept a close eye on him, but he didn’t end up vomiting again. i didn’t make the connection since he didn’t eat much of it and my other dog showed no symptoms. today, he seemed fine again so i gave them the rest of the braid and within an hour my boy vomits 5 times. not even another 20 minutes goes by that my other dog throws up and now both my normally upbeat hyper dogs are ill and lethargic! i should also mention when i first got this in store i noticed a bug in between the braid but i couldn’t switch it out as there were no others left SURPRISINGLY. again my poor babies are sick now because of this awful product THIS NEEDS TO BE TAKEN OFF THE SHELVES IMMEDIATELY TERRIBLE PRODUCT AND DEFINITELY NOT SAFE FOR DOGS!! just read all of the other reviews what an awful excuse for a product. i will be getting my money back SHAME ON YOU

Remove this off the shelves I have read just now other people‘s dogs are getting sick from this treat and my dogs recently got sick from this as well and started throwing up. I was very concerned and didn’t know what was going on until I realized and read these reviews.

Dog ate half of it and threw up whole stomach twice. I took it away to see if it was from the braid or his heartworm meds. The next day he was feeling better and proceeded to give him the other half only for him to start vomiting again. This product should be removed from the shelves.

Do NOT buy this treat! My 65lb pit lab picked this out at PetCo and ate it when we got home. An hour after eating he threw up, and then a few hours later, and then the next morning. He’s resting right now and not sure if he’s fully recovered. Went online and saw that the reviews all say the same thing so maybe I don’t have to worry about a blockage. But AVOID THIS TREAT AT ALL COSTS!!

Dangerous. Within 15 minutes of eating these, all three of my Lab mixes became extremely ill and spent several hours vomiting and running out to go potty. They were so sick they refused food and were completely lethargic, sleeping the entire next day. I noticed other reviews mentioning these exact symptoms but unfortunately I didn't see them until I came here to post my experience. My dogs have had similar treats from the pet pantry before without any issues, so this must be a brand-specific problem.

Do not buy these chews. Within minutes of starting it—before even finishing the full chew—our dog began vomiting repeatedly. This was not mild stomach upset; it was immediate and severe. After the incident, we looked into the reviews and found multiple similar complaints, which makes it extremely concerning that this product is still being sold by a pet store that claims to prioritize animal health and safety. Most alarming, our dog vomited blood. No pet owner should have to worry that a product purchased from a trusted pet retailer could put their dog at risk. These should be removed from shelves.

Absolutely DO NOT BUY. Horrendous product. My dog has never thrown up so much in an 24 hour span. He threw up EIGHT times in the past 16 hours alone. Absolutely ridiculous that this product has so many terrible reviews for the exact same reasons and Petco hasn’t done anything about it! Surprised me because up to now, they’ve always treated my dog great. Absolutely AVOID this treat
