Questions
This Gastrointestinal Biome formula is a great product and has helped digestive issues in my cat since starting this diet. However, my cat had enjoyed the wet can version too and am wondering if this product will come back to being available.
Why do you need to add synthetic V-K (menadione) to this food? This substance has some research indicating a possible negative health consequence. Most cat food manufacturers only add it to fish based foods.
Is it still possible to buy Hill's® Prescription Diet® Gastrointestinal Biome Feline Chicken & Vegetable Stew (canned wet food). I cannot find it anywhere. Thanks.

If I give this to my cat, do I need to discontinue the wet foods I give him?

Is this food okay for cats with constipation also? I have a cat who has IBD with diarrhea and one that is always constipated.
- My young cat had hard, dry poops, sometimes with a piece or two outside his litterbox. He has been eating thus food for a couple weeks and his poop seems to be better. Inside the box and not dry like before. He was eating all wet food before and countless brands but his poop was still hard until we tried this.

I would like to know if possible if the food is still working for the person who left the review cause I have a cat w/the exact same symptoms?
- Not the reviewer, but I have an 11 year old cat that had the very same issue. We tried just about everything until our vet suggested this food. We've used it for the last 9 months. It took her a week or so to get used to the taste (we slowly transitioned the old food out). We noticed the difference in her stool after about a day. It's a little pricey, but it beats getting up in the middle of the night (every night) to clean diarrhea out of the carpet!
