Picked up after an online purchase on sale, placed it on mat at home and half filled with water overnight to check for leaks. I noted that the left side panel was slightly misaligned but didn't see any cracks or other issues. Alas, the next day after filling it with substrate, planting and flooding the tank (28 gallons), after some hours saw it was very very slowly leaking from the front center. Had to remove everything which had taken hours to setup, drained the tank only to be told by customer service (phone) that I had to bring it back to store where they will 'verify the issue' and then replace or refund. Never buying a tank from this brand again.

Bought in store, got home "unboxed", meaning i took carboard off the tank, saw my tank is cracked but It was covered by the packaging, bought it on sale, pretty sure i cant return it

Tank is really nice and man did they cut that bottom mat to the exact millimeter in size but the reason for the 2 stars and not 5 is because for such a nice Tank, I’m not sure why you wouldn’t include the clear plastic piece for the lid to seal up the back airspace around any chords or filter, inlet or outlet tubes. Maybe mine was stolen or taken out of the inside of the tank as the strapping was taken off and the lid had been removed before so maybe it was just missing in a package. It’s a pretty expensive tank to not include the clear filler strip for the glass lid. That’s the reason for the two stars instead of five thank you.

Nice frameless tank. Received a week ago, and finally got around to setting it up for my hermit crabs. Unfortunately, the lid does not fit and is too narrow by 2 inches. Need different lid to keep moisture in. Not usable as is

I wrote a previous review but can’t edit to update. I’ve had this filled with water for several weeks, no leaks, no cracks. It sounds like it’s definitely best to buy in store- and I inspected the two in stock and picked the one with better looking silicone. I’m really happy with it for the price I paid- don’t believe it’s low iron glass but it’s very bright and clear. A bit of razor blade cleanup on the silicone and it’s good to go. I use the lid, and it fits- has lid clips that are secure. I’ve been gentle with it since it’s a literal sheet of glass and it hasn’t broken with normal use. Wish it allowed for HOB on the side instead of back but I realize that’s probably not a common desire. Fit around the sides of the tank is quite snug (barely room for heater wire) if that helps with calculating if a fish can jump out. The back has a bigger gap for tech and there’s a handle hole in the middle. I recommend inspecting your specific tank in store but you cannot beat the price for a rimless tank! So happy Petco offers these.

I bought this at the beginning of the month.I had a drive an hour away to pick it up, but when I got it, the side panel was not flush with the rest of the panels, and the silicone job was horrible to the point People online were telling me to return it. I did not trust the tank. I would not recommend

So, I bought this tank a month ago and the reviews were atrocious. From what I gathered, most of them had the tank shipped to them, hence the cracked glass reviews and whatnot. Anyhow, I went to buy it in store. The first one I bought- the edge of the glass had a small crack next to the silicone. While it may have been more cosmetic, my anxiety could never live with that. So I called the store and they were more than happy to replace it. I replaced it, new one was great. I set it up/aquascaped it and it has been absolutely amazing. very satisfied. It’s a beautiful tank. *Only con I must say is the lid is way too thin of glass. Mine shattered a piece off quite easily. Luckily I didn’t use it, but still… most people would definitely want a durable lid. Ps. I got the 28g one.

Kinda cool tank but lid doesn’t fit or is missing parts. Tried the chat feature but they said I’d have to take it back to the store. Since there’s a fish in there and it’s been scaped, plus the store is on the other side of town, I won’t be doing that.
