Not to weight
I picked this up today and weighed it. It is 0.98 kg and not 1 kg as stated. The lid was not tight and contents were to the level as pictured. I suspect someone siphoned some away.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Did not Work !!!
Recently purchased this product for my Fluval FX4 to reduce my ammonia level in my 55 gal. aquarium with Ammonia level at 1.0 ppm. Followed directions even adding a little more. Did 3 20% water changes during one week no change. Removed and installed Fluval FX Ammonia pad, 3 days later ammonia read 0.25 ppm. Will never buy this again !

Imagitarium Zeolite Crystals
I purchase this to eliminate any ammonia in the fish tank as fish gives this off when they 'pee' and charcoal does not do the job.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Lechuza pon mix
Use these for my pon mix for plants. Great price. Perfect size. Crystals are in great condition. Don’t tell the plant community about it cause they’re mine

3-Thumbs Up
Works so well I’m thinking about lining my infant son’s diaper with some. I may have to think twice about that though.

Solved one of my water quality issues.
I have spent months trying to get my pH under control. I finally came upon a stream of comments on one of my aquarium youtube channels that recommended to try zeolite to diminish ammonia. It works.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions
1 - 8 of 8 Questions
Can this be used for planting house plants , horticulture? I asked this question and the answer was not clear. Said not recommended as a substrate.. Does that mean just in the fish tanks? or any house plant substrate..... not involving an aquarium?
- I use this in a semihydro gritty mix for houseplants, it works great. I wouldn’t recommend it for mixing into soil however, it’s not light enough to do anything beneficial.

Can I add this to 8 gallon Biorb with my Betta fish
Can this filter media be used as a substrate?
- No. Zeolite Crystals can only be used in a mesh filter bag placed inside the filter/canister where the water can flow through them to remove ammonia.

Is this product safe for fresh or brackish water, aquatic turtles (Diamondback Terrapins) & semi-aquatic turtles, (red eared sliders)?
- It says it is safe to use with freshwater tanks. You should contact the manufacturer for more specific information.

CAN I ADD THE MARINELAND ACTIVATED CARBON MIXED WITH THIS , SAY 20 % ?
- Yes. Some preloaded filter cartridges come with a 20/80 blend of Zeolite and Carbon. It works better that way.

Is this product ok to use in a 6 gallon tank with 2 fish and 2 snails or just in larger tanks?
- Help keep your aquarium free of damaging ammonia. I think the amount of fish is the deciding factor in using the crystals. More fish equals more ammonia.

Can this be used with an under gravel filter, as I do not have an outside filter. Can I just place it on top or mixed with gravel? This is for a new tank I'm cycling.
- I do not recommend adding this as a substrate. you will need to remove this when ever you need to add salt to the aquarium because salt releases the ammonium from the zeolite.
