My review was always 5 stars but now....

My cats have been eating this for years. Due to protein allergies. Now I hear you are discontinuing the Rabbit formula. We tried the limited ingredient kind before and they didn't really like it, but this one worked great. Now, once again, I will be searching for a food they can eat and tolerate. Finding a food a cat will eat is hard, and almost impossible when there are allergies involved. Sorry, but this keeps happening with so many brands - I was hoping Instinct would be different. Off to search every pet store and pet boutique to try and find a food that avoids the fowl and fish allergens and they will eat. So very frustrating!!

Shipping is terrible. Every day I check it gives me a later date. It’s taken so long that I was asked to review it and the product still says it will be 2 more days until it arrives. Over a week and still in transit these days is unacceptable.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great for cats with IBD!

My cat has IBD and can only have certain proteins. Additionally, the 5.5 oz cans of his prescription food are too big and he can only get down 1/2 a can but won't eat the other half if it's been refrigerated. (IKR?!) So I slowly introduced this as his dinner (dry is prescription) and he really likes this one in place of the pate kind, but it's working out and I don't have a 1/2 can going to waste!

Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat definitely loved this canned food. The packaging is straight foward and easy to open. The scent is pretty strong but that’s to be expected with what they are made out of. The ingredients seem wholesome and the price is defenitely doable when you’re on a budget.

i bought this about a month ago because it is single source protein. he has had serious GI issues and we have explored various diets. unfortunately the sensitive stomach brands mix various proteins, especially chicken and turkey. I have eliminated poultry from his diet and have had some success (less vomiting) but i searched for a diet that eliminated chicken, fish and turkey. he has lost a lot of weight. the vet says he is ok, via bloodwork. this rabbit has made a big difference in him. he also gets purina lamb and rice dry to nibble. so ill see at the next visit. the food is quite expensive, but it is a better deal than constant vet visits.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat will eat anything you put in front of him! He liked this canned food. He had never tried rabbit before and he seemed to like it. The can is a good price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our cat seams to love this food. She gets so excited when she sees the can and then devours it. The scent is not to strong and the texture seams perfect. And the price is reasonable to all the others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took some coercing to get my cat to eat this, but once she started to eat, she had no issues with finishing. The price is so so for the amount you get.
