Thick and soft
I was unsure of buying this because it had no reviews, but in the photos this mat looked thick enough to cushion a cage floor. Right when I took it out of the box my dog was rolling around on it. It's thick enough and squishy like foam but not too fluffy like a pillow. Its fine in a cage ,but there's no grips on the bottom so it slides around on the floor. It also is not washable as far as I can tell. I think it was worth the $20 I got it on sale at
