Do not use, I started my Labrador on this and she started to act lethargic, got very loose stools, needed to go out to urinate in the middle of the night, hearing loss started, cold tail and vomited, she was miserable and not her normal, if you see any of this STOP the use, it's not worth fixing an ear infection, find something else. Please don't use this and I'm not sure why the vet didn't mention any of these reactions.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I gave my dog this med on 6/21 for 7 days. She lost hearing right after that and hasn't regained it yet. It's 7/17 now. At this point i start to believe this will be permanent. She could hear me well prior using this medication. Ear infection is gone and so is her hearing :( very sad

I cannot believe that this product is still on the market. I stopped using it as soon as I found out but the damage is done. Our dog suffered hearing loss but yes the product did work before she couldn't hear us call her name.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Questions

1 - 1 of 1 Questions

What are the differences between this product and Zymox ear solution? Is one more potent?

  1. Mometamax is a prescription med and Zymox isn't. That's all I know. You can ask a vet what the difference is.
