Really works for weight loss!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started Severus on this food instead of his usual Purina Indoor Naturals to see if it would make a difference in his weight and eating habits. Imagine my surprise when we had a checkup a month later and he’d lost a whole pound! He enjoys the taste of the food but doesn’t overeat and his waste output didn’t increase or change much. My vet was pleased with the progress and Severus is still happy eating! I will feed this to him again.

Traditionally he eats healthy weight food from other brands, but I felt like this food kept him full longer and he had energy after eating! He was not in a slump after eating his meals! I also noticed his coat was extra shiny and he didn’t have as many hairballs while cleaning himself!

I didn’t expect it to be so small. Because of that, I’m still figuring out which dishes work best and how to properly adjust the portions on our automatic feeder. That said, the size doesn’t bother my cats at all! They love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Prowess Nulo Healthy Weight Adult Cat Food hoping to slim down my chunky little king without him acting like I ruined his whole life — and honestly, it’s been a win. He actually likes it (shocking), he’s not begging for food every ten minutes, and his energy is better instead of that lazy “don’t talk to me, peasant” vibe he usually has after eating. The kibble size is perfect, no weird smell, and his coat looks shinier, which I was not expecting from a “healthy weight” formula. I love that it’s higher-protein and made with better ingredients than the usual cheap stuff. Even my vet side-eyed me less at our last visit. If you’ve got a cat who enjoys his snacks a little too much but still deserves the good life, this is a great option. Mine approves — loudly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coco, our rescue cat, has been a VERY picky eater as long as we have had her (8 years). She will scoff at anything you try to feed her that is below her standards. We got this Prowess cat food and I figured it would be another dry food flop. Much to my surprise she loved it. Every morning she is waiting by her food bowl for it. Every evening she hunts us down wherever we are in the house to let us know she is ready to eat. She has GI issues with other dry foods and had lost weight. With this food she has had zero issues, and is back to her healthy weight. Her coat looks healthier as well. Her energy levels are way up. She spends a lot more time tormenting our dogs. They are the only two who don’t like the food, lol. The food pieces are much smaller than other cat food. That makes it easier for her to eat them. It has also reduced her occurrences of coughing up hairballs. We will definitely continue buying this food.
