Doggy Freedom
I installed a PetSafe door in my three panel glass door, without any issues. The brackets went in easily, the insert was placed and anchored without issues. I did opt to use the original sliding glass door locking mechanism, as there wasn't a good place to anchor the one that came with the insert. Also, I picked up some rubber weather stripping from a hardware store to seal the gap between the panel and the door (as was reported in a number of reviews). The install is solid and the dogs enjoy having the ability to go in and out at will.

DO NOT BUY! The pictures show a flap opening that goes all the way down to the bottom of the rail. If you buy this 96" tall one, you will have. 4" FIXED glass panel at the bottom below the door flap thst isn't removable and my medium golden doodle constantly hits her paws on it even though she's taller. Shame on you for not showing accurate pics of the product.

Easy to set up. Quality is good except for the weather stripping. It is a great solution for my dog’s escape to her other world. She adapted to it easily.

Great purchase
This door is top quality and looks great with my decor. I have a large 111 lb Rotti-Poo and he has managed to maneuver through the door with no issues. To fully secure it to the track to prevent any movement with usage I added pieces of styrofoam from the packging to the gaps along the frame. Estectically, it looks fine per my guest, as they thought it was part of the framing joints. I highly reccomend this product.

defective, returning. One side of door cut too short, holes not lining up for screws

Terrible experience with item, Petco cust. service
Terrible experience with product and Petco customer service. Item arrived with missing part, unable to complete installation. Petco assured me on three separate occasions that replacement part was sent and that I would receive confirmation email. I received neither.
Product seems less sturdy than I expected. I would not leave this in place for any extended amount of time.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Can this be used with vinyl sliding patio doors?
- Thank you for your great question. This pet door can be installed in vinyl sliding doors. Please note, however, that vinyl is a more brittle material than wood or metal, so extra care should be taken when screwing the pet door frame into place.

Is the XL size panel opening available? It’s listed in your description but it’s not on website that I could see.

My condo association mandates BRONZE or dark brown metallic door frames. Also, the sliding glass doors are TALL. I measured about 93" +/- Do you have a pet door insert product that meets these specs?

Can this be used on a double glass sliding doors. Putting it on the side of the door that I don’t open?
- Thank you for your great question. The Freedom Patio Panel is not a suitable option for double sliding glass doors. They are meant for single sliding glass doors where they rest up against the side frame of the sliding door.

The framing around my dual sliding doors is approx. 92.75" H and the height inside the track is approx. 93". Can you tell me what the length of the tall door with L-Tall insert is when the sliding/spring panel is all the way down (not engaged)?

The magnet that holds the rubber flap closed broke on mine. Is there a way I can replace that part? It’s the magnetic part on the bottom of the door frame.
- Thank you for your question! The magnet in the door frame is not replaceable as it is partially molded into the frame. The entire panel would need to be replaced in order to restore this piece.

Hello I need a adjustable door that will go up to 95 inches or so, 1 inch thick that fits on a track with a 12 inch tall cat opening. Pls assist what product you have.
