how big is the small one?will it fit a boarder collie?
- Thank you for asking about this! The small size fits neck sizes of 7-9", while the medium size fits neck sizes 9-14". We would recommend measuring your border collie around their neck at the highest point, directly behind the ears, then matching this measurement to the size where that measurement falls. Can it be used for bulldogs
- This is a great question, Misti! Though some customers have successfully used this head collar with bulldogs, individuals with very short muzzles typically do best with our Easy Walk® harness.

Will it work for my Beauceron? He's very powerful and strong, so I don't know if it'll rip if he tries to open his mouth.
- It doesn't hold the mouth closed. Dog is still able to eat, drink, and bark whilst wearing it. I have an 80ish lb chow mix and I've used it on him since he was almost 2yrs old and he'll be 10yrs this year. He's always been headstrong and it's the only way i walk him. It just puts gentle pressure the top of his nose and he corrects himself. I pretty much have walked with a very loose leash

Will the small gentle leader head collar fit a small 7 lb. Chihuahua mix? He has a long snout like a min pin not your regular Chih. Thanks

Have herd that the plastic clip under the chin breaks easily. And that it does not hold up. up. I have a 30 lb Border collie Pit bull cross. He pull very hard all the time. .Is this true.?

I have a 130lb German shepherd, 2 years old & VERY difficult to control on walks. I'm trying & he's getting better together with my 50lb rescue, but still pulls HARD towards dogs & people. Will this stop him from pulling & trying to control ME on walks?
- I have a 90lb pitbull that also pulls hard towards others. I feel like the gentle leader helps me control him better because it controls the head, instead of the full weight of the dog if you use a regular collar leash or harness. I grab the leash closer to the leader and pull down when someone is coming close and it helps keep him from lunging. I hope this helps.

Would this fit a 7 -10lb dog?
- I think the size small would work because the head strap is adjustable. My 2 guys are 15-17 lbs. and I believe I bought smalls for them.

Would this type of muzzle help with a dog/puppy that wants to eat every rock on our walks?
- I believe it would because the pet parent has control of the lead, hence control of the dog. It fits over the nose and snaps in place at the back of the neck. With very little tugging or effort, you literally guide the dog’s head by its nose.

At what age of the dog/puppy is it recommended?
- I started this with puppies as young as 4 months....and older dogs (age 9). It works really well, even if they don’t like it!
