Broke!
Broke after a month. The metal grate that passes through to remove the waste got off track, one side had gone farther than the other. Because of this it got bound up and no longer worked. Thankfully I could return it for store credit. I even tried to fix it, but unless I wanted to fully disassemble the whole thing, and get into the motor, there was no fixing it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

This litter box came with a cardboard tray and has no place to put a liner bag. It doesn’t clean well at all the poop and pee get stuck to the rack, and when it “cleans,” it barely picks anything up. It actually makes the smell worse because the waste gets smeared into the rack and pushed to one side. The tray only lasts about two days before it’s unusable. It only does one sweep and ends up dragging the mess back the other way, and sometimes it doesn’t work at all. I bought it thinking it would help, but after the first day I’m already looking for something else. Honestly, this is the worst litter box I’ve tried. A basic, nonautomatic one works better.

Would not purchase
My wife and I bought this 2 weeks ago for our 2 cats. Unfortunately, it has been getting stuck at the tray and does not reset, maybe there is litter jammed in the internal workings? I don’t know, I just know that it isn’t working. Would not recommend.

Every time it starts cleaning it takes out the old stuff it’s mixing in with the clean and it bunches up at the end of cleaning so there’s slot at the beginning of raking

Great budget friendly uncovered choice
I have 2 boxes the classic and the other is very similar with a scoop counter, that I don't see it on the website anymore. Both boxes function as described. I was surprised at how well the crystal litter controls odor. The paper tray actually holds everything and is convenient. It doesn't leak. The litter doesn't NOT last 30 days. We still have 3 boxes for 2 cats and it lasts between 30-40 USES not days. I have 1 cat that didn't like the blue litter so I got the unscented trays and the other cat didn't like that. So I bought the plastic reusable tray and found another brand crystal litter that they would both use. If you go that route I recommend the stainless tray instead because the plastic really gets stinky no matter how much washing I do. Overall this is a great budget friendly automated box for those of us with cats that only like open boxes.

Don't buy
Worked in the beginning, but now rake gets stuck and it is very loud. i have to reset it a couple of times a day and it has started squeaking lately, like an old part that needs oil.
