Recommend to all my Rover cat clients
New to having cats. Just had dogs. Hated the smell and clean up of traditional litter boxes. I work for Rover and one of my clients has this system and it’s a game changer. Love the pellet system. Easier to maintain and smells so much better.
I highly recommend this to any new cat clients that does not use this product.

Clumping liter turns to cement after pet use
I have used Tidy cat litter for years but over the last month the product is terrible. It no longer clumps it becomes hard, thick like cement. You can't scoop it I have to take a metal scraper to get it off the bottom on the pan. I have turned to another brand.

No more stepping in regular cat litter
I just started using your project and my cat loves it. No more mess compared to regular cat litter. I know some pellets will get out, but compared to litter, I'm not walking over the old litter that tracks all over the house. The odor has decreased by 90%, It's a win/win.

I do love this system, except for the fact that my cats drag the pellets all over the house. Bag says “no mess guaranteed “. Not! Other than that I’m happy.

We are back because it works.
Way better than traditional litter boxes. We used the covered version for years but with two cats now we opted for the XL. We had tried a automated little box but our cats were terrified of it and we decide to return to Tidy Cats Breeze. I think its way cleaner than traditional litter boxes especially if you get an enclosure but the green tray becomes an issue after a couple years if not cleaned regularly.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Almost works
Like the idea of the system but doesn't drain well and smells. Urine doesn't drain from the slanted side so it pools and smells. Would be great if the green drain tray was sold separately so you could replace when needed. Ours is cleaned twice a month since we have multiple cats and it doesnt work. over time it doesnt last. This XL system would be great for multiple cats but the lack of drainage and smell is unbearable.

GREAT!! (except for green tray)
We really love this box and have been using it for years. Like another reviewer we’ve noticed that the cat’s urine has started leaving a permanent crusty grossness on the green plastic tray. It doesn’t come off with scrubbing or scraping. It’s as if the urine has permanently etched away at the green plastic. It would be nice to have the option to just purchase the green tray. Or a future update to the product would be to sell a stainless steel version of the green tray. All other pieces of the system are still perfect. Aside from that we LOVE this system and can’t imagine going back to clay or crystal litters. (We were even able to get our older cat to make the switch using the suggested methods). LOVE (except for green tray).

Worst cat litter box on the market!!!
This by far the worst cat litter box I have ever encountered! After 2 days of our cat using this the pad was saturated with urine and the area just smells like cat pee! The pellets are the worst they don’t smell horrible! Tidy cats should have to refund us for this horrible product! Should really test your product out before you put on the market! Anyone looking into this product should look else where!

¿Does this box admit pellets from other brands?
- You could use any type of pellet litter as long as the size is the same or slightly larger. Anything smaller would fall through the grate.

How much pellets do you use in the XL box? I have the regular size breeze box and use 3.5 lbs per month. Can I get away with using 3.5 lbs per month in this larger box? Will 3.5 lbs of pellets cover the small openings at the bottom of the XL box?

Is the bottom part (the part where the tray slides in) watertight? Or, in other words, if I take the tray out is that bottom part solid under the tray?
- No it is not. The tray serves as the bottom. It sits on an extended piece of the litter container. I have found that the liner and the tray are the key to the integrity of the bottom.

If I buy from Petco and say after a few weeks my cat isn't taking to this system what is the return policy - can I return to the store where I bought it from and get my money back?
- I doubt it. For sanitary reasons the product couldn't be resold once used.

- It depends on whether you get the regular or extra large size. The regular size is about the same size as an ordinary cat box.

It looks like the Pee Pad doesn't cover the entire pellet bed. What happens when the cat pees near the entrance?
- If you will notice the bottom of the unit is sloped going down to the grid. This is so the urine drains down to the grid portion where it goes through down to the pad. When mine was new I was wondering if it would work. But now that I've had it for a while, trust me, it works just fine.

Thinking about getting this system and would like to know how to transition from regular cat litter to pellets and approx time frame for doing so. Regular cat litter has become tremendously messy and looking for a better option.
