When used as a mixer/topper, simply replace kibble with an equal amount of the topper. It can be fed to your pet dry or rehydrated by adding equal amounts of warm water. Adjust based on body conditions, activity level, health status, etc. Fresh water should be available at all times. Puppies may need twice as much food as listed for adult dogs. For pregnant and nursing dogs, please check with your veterinarian as requirements vary depending on the number of puppies and stage of lactation. Daily recommendations based on body weight: 3 lbs. (1/2 cup); 5 lbs. (3/4 cup); 10 lbs. (1 1/4 cups); 20 lbs. (2 cups); 30 lbs. (3 cups) 40 lbs. (3 1/2 cups); 50 lbs. (4 1/4 cups); 60 lbs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog did not like these. She is a small chihuahua and these were a little too big for her to chew on. The packaging was nice and sturdy. I liked that you can seal it after opening the packaging.
