TRIXIE Baza Cat Scratching Post, 19.7" H, Cream
Description
Give Your Cat the TRIXIE Baza Cat Tree - the ultimate playground! We know cats rule the home, so here is your attempt to reclaim it. Give your feline overlord their own kingdom with this dual post scratcher. Felines can sharpen their claws on jute-covered scratching posts instead of on your furniture or carpet, giving them a healthy outlet for their scratching instincts. This all-in-one climber, scratcher, and napping station will entertain your kitty for hours. When they feel a little spunky, we've included a dangling pom-pom toy to pique their playful interests. They can curl up in the cozy hammock if a nap is in order. Perfect for kittens and small to medium adult cats, this simple yet functional cat tree delivers everyday comfort and enrichment in a design that blends easily into your home.

Is there a trick to getting cats to use this? I think it looks comfy, but my cats think otherwise and won't even jump up on it to check it out.
- Honestly it took my cat a while to appreciate this one but now he loves it, snuggling up on the top and laying on the bottom. Try sprinkling some catnip on the posts and they'll investigate.

My cat threw up on it already, is the "bed" part washable?
- I have Siamese kitties, three of them, and they can puke on demand. I put the item outside in the sun for the "puke" to harden. Scrape off as much as possible, then with a damp cloth and mild soap, wipe the item down. After you get it clean, use a damp cloth (no soap) to clean it good, you don't want kitty to be licking soap. They lick the strangest things. I fed them some food the other day that had little whole fishies in it. One of them puked on my sandal to thank me. I did the same procedure with my shoe. But used more aggressive scrubbing and lots of water. Hope this helps.

Does the post contain any particle board?
- Hello lindaoak2001: The post is not made of particle board; it is cardboard underneath the sisal. Hope this helps answer your question. Thank you.
