Great for smart cats
I found that the treat puzzles marketed towards cats were very easy for my smart kitty to solve so I decided to try something geared towards dogs. I wasn't sure if she would take to it, but before long she was an expert at this puzzle too. My cat is about 9.5 pounds so I would not recommend this puzzle to medium or large dog owners because I feel that it could be easily flipped over by a more exuberant treat seeker. I have another cat who has used this puzzle but doesn't show too much interest until the treats are falling out. I'm sure this would be great for smaller dogs but I would only recommend it for cats if you have an idea that your kitty is a really smart cookie.

Pup loves it but doesn’t keep her busy for long
Keeps my mini bernedoodle entertained for a little bit but it doesn’t keep her occupied for long unless I keep adding more treats

There is a book that comes with Trixie activities that contains training tips to ensure this. The difference in level between all Trixie dog activities is in difficulty of the task only.
