I bought this on a recommendation by someone online as having a good nutritional value. All 7 (cockatiel to umbrella cockatoo) of my birds are already on 3 different brands of pellets but I thought I'd try it anyway. First thing I noticed is the size. Not sure why it's called parrot size when it's better for a conure or Senegal. I've added a picture next to a dime and penny for people to see how small. Second thing I noticed was an obnoxious tutti fruitti smell. If this were candy for children I would say that's one thing. But birds never encounter that smell plus it's EXTREMELY STRONG for no apparent reason. I added a few spoonfuls to all 7 of my birds' regular pellets to see if anyone would like them. NOBODY would even touch their regular pellets. They only ate their fresh foods and chop for 2 days straight. I was worried about their health so I threw everything out. The stench was still overpowering after 2 days of being out in the air. I eat and try all my birds' pellets and while the underlying taste was that same mixed grain flavor, the overwhelming flavor was Juicy Fruit Gum, which lingered in my mouth for an hour even after drinking coffee. Again, I'm not sure that's an appropriate flavor for birds. My birds are currently on Zupreem, Pretty Bird, and Oven Baked brand pellets. They've also tried and liked Roudybush, Harrison's, Tops, and a few other brands. They have no issues eating pellets but refused these. Even my 2 who will literally eat anything refused to try these, dropping them immediately when I hand fed them. If someone could get their bird to eat them, more power to them -pellets are healthier than plain seeds. For my birds they're going in the trash.

I was sceptical when I first seen this item but figured it was inexpensive enough to give it a try. When I first opened the bag, it had this delicious enticing smell to it. I gave it to my 2 Amazon parrots and they love it. I place a scoop on top of there regular seed mix and they really took to it fast considering their finicky. So I'm glad I took a chance and purchased this treat for them. The smell makes you almost want to eat it!

This stuff smells amazing. The bubblegum scent is so strong that I thought my parrot wouldn't eat it but he loves it. In fact, it's probably one of the only pellets he's ever not had an issue with. He also didn't seem to like the Zupreem natural pellets which is a shame because I thought they would be perfect. I really hope these pellets don't ever become unavailable because they're now my go to.

We just received this yesterday and so far our little green cheek conure hasn’t eaten any. We’ll mix it in with his other seeds and hope he likes it. It smells really sweet like candy almost. I think it will be something nutritious for him to add to his diet.

I have 2 conures that are very picky eaters, we went through a lot of feed trying to find something that they liked. They really love this food, so I was dismayed when I couldn't find it in our local Petco! I was very happy to find it on Petco's website and am now set up for repeat deliveries. Yes, my Conures love it that much! It does smell like bubble gum as other reviewers mentioned, but I like the smell.
