Will this fit a door opening that is 29.5"? Similar on-line products say the minimum width is greater than the 29" gate insert shown in the diagram because the side gate pieces have to be added on in order to "suction" the gate to the door frame.
- Yes, a 29.5" opening will work perfectly. The main gate itself fits openings from 29" to 32" — so you can install just the main unit without needing the extension pieces. No additional side pieces are required to mount it securely.

Hiw wide is the walk through door opening? I need something wide enough for my grandmother's rolling walker to fit through.
