Not effective
Sadly I cant really recommend this shampoo, I showered Leo in this when he was having hot spots and it wasn't effective (their spray actually worked very well, though) and I recently bathed Mia in this because shes been itching recently. This did not work out for Mia, this only made her itch even more and her skin is going through a tough time days after the shower.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Smells good & itch relief
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo was a life saver for the hot spot for my dog it gave him relief so fast. After I bathe his paw with it. And he was biting his paws nonstop.

Noticeable Relief and a Little Goes a Long Way
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this product in exchange for my honest review. I’ve used the Veterinary Formula Hot Spot & Itch Relief Medicated Shampoo a couple of times now and have already seen improvement in my dog’s comfort.
The scent is mild and not overly chemical, which I really appreciated. The directions were clear and it lathered super well. I only needed a small amount to cover his whole coat, so the bottle will definitely last (especially since he's an XXL dog.)
After the first use, I noticed instant relief once he dried. By the second wash, he was noticeably less itchy and his skin seemed less dry. He wasn’t dealing with major redness, but this definitely helped with overall irritation.
If your dog deals with dry, itchy skin and you want something that feels gentle but works, this shampoo is a great go-to.

Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hot Spot & Itch Relief Medicated Shampoo worked wonders for my dog’s itchy skin. After just one wash, the redness calmed down and she wasn’t scratching nearly as much. It rinses clean and leaves her coat soft without a strong medicated smell. The only challenge is keeping it on for a few minutes before rinsing, but the relief it gives makes it worth it.

Comfort for Baloo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This medicated shampoo has been a great solution for Baloo’s hot spots and itchy skin. After just a couple of baths, his irritation started to calm down and his coat looked much healthier. It lathers well, rinses easily, and leaves him clean without drying out his skin. I’m happy to see Baloo more comfortable and free from constant scratching.
