How to use: 1. Select correct size for pet by measuring neck according to size chart. 2. Thread pet's regular collar through neck straps lining the inside of the recovery collar. 3. Place recovery collar around pet's neck, then properly close regular collar. 4. Fasten hook & loop closure on recovery collar ensuring fit is not too tight.

I bought this thinking it would be easier to get around. It needs to be wider. Within 5 minutes he was able to pick his sutures from his neuter had to go back to the old plastic one. I do not recommend it.

do not buy! too soft
No good! Product is too soft! When the dog wants to get to their paw all I have to do is push down with a little bit of pressure and they are able to get to it You can squeeze the inside of the circle and make contact with both sides using just one finger and a thumb.

My Dog is a Beast
I should have trusted the negative reviews for big dogs. We have to crate my dog when we leave the house and he couldn't fit in the crate with his cone after being neutered so we bought this. Took my daughter to school and within 10 minutes he had slid it off and shredded to bits. Walked in like he just had a blizzard in his cage.

Nice for specific uses!
Bought to add underneath an Ecollar so it would stop slipping down my doberman pinschers long skinny neck. Buy 2 if you get it for this purpose. It is good quality and comfortable for me as a neck support - not for use of paw access prevention but is a worthy purchase. Fits my doberman, and both bullys necks so can use for other medical needs in the future.

Not for big dogs
Got this for our 100lb bernedoodle and it does not stop him from licking is stitches in his belly. I was rather disappointed due to the stress a normal cone causes him, I was really hoping this would work. I think this would work for smaller dogs but not big dogs!

Great product
We bought this three weeks ago in preparation for our spaying of our 12 pound dog on February 17. I’m very pleased with his cone. She is able to get around. We only have two more days that it gets off and she was able to do everything with it as well. I think it’s a good product and the price is not bad.Buy one you will like it!!

Life Saver!
I was a little hesitant to buy this after reading such mixed reviews, but this has been perfect for my Ziggy. For reference, he is a Chihuahua mix, 14.5 pounds, and wearing size XXS/XS. There is a small gap, but it didn’t make a difference in its effectiveness. I was just glad it didn’t choke him. He was given a regular cone from the vet and couldn’t even lift his head. It was dragging when he tried to walk so he just froze and he couldn’t seem to get comfortable. After getting this one, he was eating, sleeping, and getting around with no problem at all. At first I thought it was a little pricey, but after seeing it in use and compared to a regular cone, it is definitely worth the cost.

rubbed my dogs neck raw after one day
Bought this two days ago and while it does its job and i like it better than the big plastic cones, in just under 24 hours it managed to rub the underside of my dogs neck raw. the material is rough for dogs with sensitive skin so i’ll be looking to get something to put over it like a cover. just disappointing that it didn’t even last a full day without causing more issues that i was trying to help solve 😩 i got the M/L for my 80lb dog and it fit him perfectly as he’s a slim build so it wasn’t tight at all and still rubbed him really bad i had to take it off

Will this dog neck donut stop a small dog from squeezing threw a metal fence?
- Hi, While the Well & Good Soft-Filled Recovery Collar is specifically designed to prevent pets from licking or scratching wounds, it is not intended or marketed as a containment device for fencing. Because it is made of soft, flexible materials, a small, determined dog may still be able to compress the collar enough to squeeze through metal fence bars. Thanks.

I purchased this for my German shepherd who had elbow surgery and is going to have a second one very soon. He has been wearing it for 3 weeks and will have to wear it for an additional 2 weeks. Is there a way to clean it? It’s getting kinda yucky.

My dog was able to lick her back leg where her surgery had been done. I thought the collar was suppose to prevent this.
