Step 1 Remove kit components and rinse out the habitat with water to remove any dust. Step 2 Expand Creatures Eco Soil in 1 1/4 cup of water. Fill the bottom tray and set any excess aside for a later date. If the substrate is too wet, squeeze out any excess water. Step 3 Place the climbing branch in the habitat. Step 4 Mist the substrate and walls regularly to maintain humidity and provide drinking water droplets.

I bought this and it's just too small to be appropriate to house a regal jumping spider. I impulse bought my spider and this was the only enclosure available at the pet store so I got it as well. It was immediately obvious that it was too small for my mature male jumping spider. This might be suitable for much smaller species of jumping spider, but definitely not the regal jumping spider that is commonly sold in pet stores. I would only use this as a temporary enclosure while you wait for your appropriately sized one to come in, or for a baby jumping spider. The front door is a pain to work with as well and this enclosures holes are too large for keeping fruit flies in, so even if you had a baby jumping spider in it, the fruit flies you try to feed it would all escape.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Why would you create something like this? Do you actually think that spider wants to live and die under a dome so little Johnny can have a "pet'? Are you kidding me? I am highly disappointed in Petco for this.
