UVB light NOT BASKING!
People saying it doesn’t give off enough heat didn’t do their research. It’s a UVB light, not a basking light. UVB is what allows the body to absorb the vit d from the rays and a basking light is for heat, so you should be using both, just just one or the other. There are better ones but this isn’t too bad and better than nothing

Don’t buy it!
Terrible. Gave little to no heat. Returned it. It’s better and safer options on Amazon! Cheaper as well! My turtles weren’t happy with it at all. Pretty sure they hated it!

short in the switch
I like the lamp. It gets the job done, but the one I got has some kind of short in the switch so it stops working, you move it around and it comes back on. We’ll have to replace it.

- This does not provide heat it only provides light, UVA and UVB. You will still need to use a basking spot lamp for heat.
