Advantage treatment is a good start. If your kitty has flea allergies it is necessary to keep fleas from biting her. So: Unfortunately fleas only hop on the body of your pet when they want to feed, then they hop off again and stay in your pet's environment. So you need to treat all pets in the household as well as the environment (which contains the fleas, their eggs and larvae). Flea treatment: 1) Get some flea medication such as a Flea spray or a spot on from a pet shop or your veterinarian (Advantage is fine) and apply monthly 2) get flea powder, put some in your vacuum cleaner bag and vacuum your house and furniture and also non-carpeted areas frequently to remove flea larvae and eggs which live off house dust. Dispose of the bag in the trash outside. Hot-wash all the pet's bedding, If you do this diligently for a few months you will get rid of the fleas.

Yes that sounds like you cat might be having fleas so no harm at all if you want to start the treatment with appropriate dosage of one of the two. I would suggest to go for Advantage though as Frontline seems not working so well at the moment. Advantage is generally a pretty effective flea medication for cats, so I'm surprised to hear that it hasn't been working well for Lily. If you want to try a different medication for her, I would suggest Revolution - I usually see good results with it for flea control, and it also prevents heartworms and intestinal parasites. As long as it's been at least two weeks since you applied the Advantage, it should be fine to go ahead and apply a dose of Revolution. I don't generally recommend flea collars for cats, as they tend not to work very well and can often be toxic for them. You may also want to use a flea spray such as Knock-Out to treat your house and yard, as it's possible that Lily is continuing to pick up fleas from the environment - this can make it much more difficult for any flea medication to work correctly.

Get a capstar tablet and give it to Midnight. This will kill every flea that is present on him within 30 minutes. Then I suggest you change flea prevention. I would recomend you get Bravecto for cats from your vet, it is expensiven, but it lasts up to 4 months preventing ectoparasites (ticks, fleas and mites).

Advantage spot on or frontline spray would be your best option for now, Advantage is sold over the counter and is a very effective anti flea treatment. for the house i would recommend Indoorex spray.
