Congratulations on your new dog! I like Revolution if you are looking for a topical product. It consistently works well and is well tolerated. If you like the idea of an oral product better, I like Trifexis (it’s another all in one product). Sometimes though the pets can smell the Trifexis and they won’t eat it. In that instance, I like Simparica and Interceptor. My personal preference is oral products. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

I don't know much about how they spay dogs in China, but I can't say I have ever heard of a dog requiring a four day hospital stay after this procedure. Here in the USA, most dogs will either go home the same day or the day after the procedure. Although a spay is an intra-abdominal procedure were an organ is removed, they tend to wake up well and not particularly painful. Unless they are using some method in China that is far more involved, I would think that the same day method is more in line with realistic.

It will probably take some time to adjust to his new environment. You could try an Adaptil collar and Solliquin chews to see if that helps relieve some of the anxiety and stress he may be experiencing. https://www.adaptil.com/us#redirected http://www.solliquin.com/

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Yes, you can give it again as long as it has been longer than 2 weeks. However, you should wait at least 2 more days before using it as otherwise it does not get absorbed well. You can consider using something called Capstar which is basically a product for fleas that has the ability to treat a lot of fleas at once to get better control. Good luck!
