Angel's eyes plus is for clearing tear stains, but I'm not sure if that is Thunder's specific problem. If it is, I recommend getting a tear stain cleaner from the pet shop. There are ones you can use on his face directly that helps clean up the tear stains. I would also recommend using a porcelain or metal bowl for his food and water. Plastic ones can crack and retain bacteria which can make tear stains worse. You can also try giving him filtered water, which may help as well.

I know that this can be frustrating. There are a few things you can try. There is a product called Angels' Eyes that comes in an oral form. It does have to be given on a consistent basis in order to see a difference. You can also use a contact solution with boric acid to reduce the staining. Do not use boric acid in any other form around the eyes as it can cause irritation or damage to the eyes. The other thing would be to have a groomer shave the hair from that area. This will keep her face cleaner and with less hair, there will be less staining.

This is a good general eye wash: ( http://www.allivet.com/p-8131-vetericyn-plus-eye-wash-3-oz.aspx ) For tear staining I recommend Angel Eyes products. They seem to work the best. ( https://angelseyesonline.com/products/ ) Hope this helps. Great question!

Hello and thank you for contacting Boop by Petco. You need to monitor your Tinker Bell over the next 24-48hrs. Do not give her any laxative and do not change her diet. The symptoms of gastrointestinal foreign body include vomiting, lack of appetite, abdominal pain, lack of stools. If you see any of these symptoms in the next 48hrs, please take Tinker Bell to your vets as an emergency. If after 48hrs she is well and will have not developed any of these symptoms, it will mean that she is out of danger.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! We really appreciate the kind words. Unfortunately, it is hard to know how to best approach this at home as it is not possible to know what this is just by seeing a picture of the eye closed. However, the discharge you describe is concerning for an infection. This would require an examination. This could be something like an ulcer which may require antibiotics. An ulcer could in theory result in loss of the function of the eye if severe enough. You can always check with your local humane society as they may offer more affordable veterinary care. Good luck and have a great day!
