Hello, thank you for using Boop by Petco.\ You can use any type of filler you would like however, most of what you will find is polyester types. You can purchase "stuffing" at any fabric type store like JoAnn Fabrics. ( https://www.joann.com/sewing/foam-and-fiber/fiberfill/ ) Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Dachshunds tend to be snugglers, and also love to be buried (like under a blanket!). I'd look into a dog bed (or even a large cat bed) that has a [clamshell or hooded design](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/harmony-hooded-cave-cat-bed-in-grey) that she can crawl into and be covered up by it. Most smaller dogs (especially dachshunds) tend to like this [cave type bed](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/snoozer-luxury-micro-suede-cozy-cave-pet-bed-in-anthracite).

Thank you for contacting Boop by Petco with your question. I recommend using a mild or sensitive detergent, that it what I have used on my sheets and clothing, and have never had a problem with my dogs even when they sleep in the bed with me. Dryer sheets are fine too, the only problem comes if the dog ingests them. I hope this helps!

Hi there! Your dog may be getting sore and arthritic, which would make it harder for her to get up when she's laying down. There are many possible treatments for arthritis in dogs, including pain medication, physical therapy, acupuncture, Adequan injections, laser treatments, specially-formulated foods, and a variety of supplements. It would be a great idea to have your dog examined by a veterinarian to determine if treatment is needed at this time and, if so, which treatment would be more appropriate. Please remember there are no safe over the counter pain medications for dogs, so you will need to have these prescribed by a veterinarian. Thanks for using Boop by Petco and best of luck to you and your dog!

I’m glad to hear that Asta has been a healthy dog up until this issue! Since she’s such a large dog, odds are good that she’s starting to show signs of arthritis, despite having excellent familial hip screenings. Arthritis can occur with age and can affect any joint. The hips, knees, elbows, and vertebral column are all commonly affected areas. Joint supplements including glucosamine and chondroitin can help slow the progression of arthritis and prescription anti-inflammatory pain medications can help to manage pain. At this point, your best option is to take Asta to her vet for an exam. Your vet will be able to determine if/where arthritis is present and will then prescribe any necessary medications. I’ve included a few articles below for further reading. I hope that everything goes well! https://www.petcoach.co/article/common-signs-of-arthritis-in-dogs/ https://www.petcoach.co/dog/condition/arthritis-1/ https://www.petcoach.co/article/early-signs-of-arthritis-in-pets/
