Dachshunds tend to be snugglers, and also love to be buried (like under a blanket!). I'd look into a dog bed (or even a large cat bed) that has a [clamshell or hooded design](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/harmony-hooded-cave-cat-bed-in-grey) that she can crawl into and be covered up by it. Our old harness is broken. I was wondering if you have any product recommendations or at least any ideas for a new harness? I've found some cute and comfortable one in a store in Germany but I don't know when I will be visiting Germany again.
How lucky of you to visit Germany recently! I would check to see if it's possible to ship the ones you like from Germany to Bosnia & Herzegovina. I'm not very familiar with the inventory of dog harnesses in your country, and given that many things can easily be shipped, it might be the best idea to have the cute and comfortable ones you say in Germany shipped to your home :-)

I am getting a hedgehog and have been told to get a small enclosed space to put in the cage for sleeping. Recommendations???

As hedgehogs love burrowing, if you aren't providing a deep layer of bedding for her to burrow in, a small enclosure would be the next most ideal. There are many commercially available huts, sleep shacks, and bags that ST.Hedgie would love, and it will really depend on your needs and her likes. Some hedgehogs prefer the plastic, dome-type huts, and some prefer soft sacks. Cleaning will be easiest with plastic, but she may prefer a fabric house, so be prepared to appropriately clean the house of her choosing on a regular basis. Why does my dog chew up his beds? What would be the best bed for an aging dog?
Hi and thanks for using Boop by Petco! Sorry to hear about Buddy. This is a million dollar question. I have experienced it with my dogs and I didn't understand it then and I don't understand it now. Some dogs are just very destructive when it comes to toys, beds, and other items in the house. Maybe it's just boredom, lack of environmental enrichment, etc. I would advise more walks, more exercise, etc to see if the behavior continues. Good luck

Is fall really the worst season for flea infestations? Why?
Yes, in most temperate climates, fleas are at their worst [through the fall](https://www.petcoach.co/article/fall-and-fleas-what-you-need-to-know). Like all insects, fleas go through a life cycle where adult fleas lay eggs, which mature to larvae, then pupae and into adults that lay eggs of their own. None of these life stages can survive when temperatures drop below 37 degrees Fahrenheit unless they are already surviving on a host, such as a household pet or wild animal, or are already inside of a warm home. As temperatures warm up in the spring, fleas begin to boom, with adult fleas laying around 2,000 eggs over a two-month span. With consistently warm temperatures, these eggs typically mature into egg-laying adults within three weeks. Consider what happens as these 2,000 eggs mature and each lay 2,000 eggs of their own!
