From the photo this looks like either a fluid filled cyst or a mass. If it were an infection it would be painful and inflamed. I recommend a veterinary exam to feel this and perhaps insert a needle in it to look at the cells. From those they can tell you what it is and if it should be removed. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for Barkley.

It could be Barkley has an infected anal sac. Put an Ecollar on him to stop him from licking it, and take him into a vet. You can make an Ecollar at home, or buy one at a pet store. Best of luck. http://dogsaholic.com/care/homemade-dog-cone.html

Bag balm is non toxic, but it could cause Snow some GI upset in the form of vomiting or diarrhea if she ate a lot of it. Should you see that, withhold food for 12 to 24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet.

Hello and welcome to Boop by Petco. I am sorry to hear about Barkley. Organge poops are concerning for possible liver disease (the yellow colour suggests the liver is not working as well), and diarrhea is concerning as well. Not wanting to eat like normal is also a sign of not feeling well. You can try him on a bland diet of boiled/boneless/skinless chicken breasts and boiled rice to see if it is just a gastritis that has thrown off his gut, otherwise I would suggest getting bloodwork done to see if his liver is OK. I hope he feels better, best of luck with Barkley!

I am so sorry about Zelda’s cough. It is possible a piece of bark has become lodged in her throat, or that the chewing merely inflamed her throat causing a cough. I would monitor her closely for the next few hours, offer her only water and keep her calm. If the cough worsens, she seems in pain or distressed I would take her to the vet immediately. Thank you for using Boop by Petco!
