Bongo really does not look like any specific breed so must be a mixed breed, The only way to know if it is a pure breed is to have a DNA test done. many companies offer this service and the process is easy and quite cheap. this is just one example: http://dnamydog.com/

The best option is to have a Dna breed test done, there are many companies that you can find online that are offering this test. They will send you a kit which you will need to complete and send back to them, it's very simple.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! They are mixed breed dogs with German shorthaired pointer, Beagle and possibly some Pitbull in my opinion. You could consider having them DNA tested to know more precisely. Best of luck!

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Benelly looks like a golden retriever. I don't know what to say about the health card, they aren't official. The only way to know for sure is to have his AKC/CCK or other pure bred papers. Otherwise we can only go on what he looks like! I hope this helps!

What a cutie!!!! This is strictly as guess as visual identification has been proven to be 75% inaccurate but if I had to guess, he looks like there is hound and possibly Cattle Dog. Its highly unlikely however that he is a 50/50 mix. I bet there are several breeds present within his ancestry! There are many canine genetic companies out there and some are better than others. You will need to check however that they have a canine genetic database from the country where he is coming from as genetic signatures do vary based upon location or origin. Congratulations on your new puppy! I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
