Thanks for visiting Boop by Petco! I wouldn't recommend allowing him to freely play with any items that are not considered safe dog toys, especially the spoon. You would be surprised what some dogs will swallow, creating not so fun foreign bodies that later need surgical removal. It's best to stick with his dog toys (Kongs, dog ropes, etc). Best wishes with your pet Casper.

Hello, and thanks for your question on Boop by Petco. It's great that you're being conscientious about this! I recommend ceramic, glass, or stainless steel bowls. They tend to be cleaner, and are safe to throw in a dishwasher cycle now and then. I'd specifically avoid plastic. Hope that helps!

Hello, thank you for using Boop by Petco. This is a great question! I did a bit of research and if you are looking for a dish-soap to use to clean your cat's bowls I found this one in Singapore. It is natural and non-toxic. As per the ingredients it would certainly be safe to use. I hope this helps. Best wishes. ( https://greenkulture.sg/products/dishwashingliquid )

It's fine that you wash their dishes with yours and use the same sponges. Just be sure to use lots of soap and hot water to kill any germs. Also make sure they are up to date on their deworming treatments, and wash your hands thoroughly after scooping Dollie's litter box :-)

It's great that you want to be prepared for your new kitten! Aside from the obvious things for the kitten like food and water bowls, I'd recommend a tall scratching post and perch. Two litter boxes in different areas of the house are recommended. Canned kitten food (and canned adult cat food as Myla gets older) is preferred over dry food.
