What's the best high-quality, natural dry cat food for my cat?

I never recommend Blue Buffalo. It's a terrible quality of food, they have no quality control (they don't own their own factories), and there have been recalls on the food. I don't recommend Rachel Ray either. She's a TV chef with no experience in animal nutrition. As for the others, they are grain free. Grain free is a fad, and I never recommend feeding it. The foods I recommended to you in your other post are high quality. I hope this helps.

What's the best affordable healthy cat food for indoor/outdoor cats? Dry or wet?

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I think the Purina Pro Plan diets are very good and also affordable. Both dry and wet diets are equally good in general especially for younger cats. Frankly, I do not care for Blue Buffalo products because they have a history of lying about their ingredients in their diets. Hills and Royal Canin are my preferred brands. There are other limited protein food brands out there, such as Natural Balance, which has formulas with a single protein source and a single carbohydrate source, making it less likely for your cat to develop an allergy.

My cats won't eat dry food. Can I switch brands and keep wet?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding your cats. It would be just fine to feed the Wellness canned food and the Wilderness dry, if that is what they prefer. Each dry cat food has a different amount of calories per cup though. So monitor them for any gain or loss of weight. To prevent this, you may need to adjust the daily amount of kibble offered. I understand that it can be quite confusing to know what is good food versus bad food with all the conflicting information out there, but you definitely don't need to break the bank to feed good food. Also, there is A LOT misleading and outright false information amongst various people in the community, which may make you feel like you're feeding an inadequate or dangerous food. Purina One is a good food that I have fed to pets in the past. I have no problem with it and would only suggest that you ensure the food is labeled for Greyson's life stage.
