Hi there and thanks for posting on Boop by Petco! There are a wide variety of options to choose from. It all depends on whether or not you would like an all in one product and/or whether Buttercup prefers chewable preventatives or topical preventatives. There is a product called Revolution which helps prevent fleas, American Dog Tick, and heartworms. It is a once monthly preventative that you apply topically to the base of the neck. If you are looking for a product that covers more than just one type of tick, then I would recommend NexGard or Simparica which helps kill 4 different types of ticks as well as fleas. These are both once monthly chewables. Unfortunately, these two products do not prevent heartworms. However, Tri-Heart or HeartGard are once monthly chewables that prevent heartworms that I would recommend. If Buttercup has not had a recent Heartworm Test, she may need one from your veterinarian in order to purchase Heartworm prevention. I hope this helps with you deci

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! All the good allergy foods have a comparable price. The best in my opinion is the Royal canin Ultamino. This is the one recommended by the dermatologists at my hospital. Good luck and have a great day!

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Buttercup. It is difficult to say without seeing a picture, but a lot of small breed dogs will experience epiphora or clear tearing of the eyes. As along as it is clear, the eye is not red and the dog is not squinting, it is generally not an issue. However, if it is new and only one eye, you will want to have her evaluated by her veterinarian. She can have an eyelash contacting the surface of her eye causing irritation. I hope this information helps!

My personal preference, completed unrelated to Boop by Petco or Petco, would be Cosequin ( http://www.cosequin.com/dogs/ ) or Dasuquin ( http://www.dasuquin.com/en/products/#dog ). Both are made by Nutromax Labs.

Nikki is adorable! Thanks for including pictures! Yes, PetSmile is expensive, but it is one of the only toothpastes to actually be approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council. Here is a list of their approved products. http://www.vohc.org/VOHCAcceptedProductsTable_Dogs.pdf PetSmile is what I use with my dogs. (Last year they ran a 25% off sale before Christmas, so I stocked up!) Yes, it is fine to use Dawn on Nikki's feet daily, but I suspect any gentle cleaner would be fine as well. You may have to experiment to find the best shampoo for her. I have been very pleased with EarthBath products, so you might want to try their Oatmeal and Aloe shampoo for itch relief. https://earthbath.com/product/oatmeal-aloe-shampoo/ There are also prescription itch relief shampoo and conditioner products if needed that you can talk to your vet about. Good luck! I hope that was helpful and answered your questions. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
