Hide some toys away, bring in a couple new ones, then in a week or 2, bring out the old ones and put away the new ones. Getting a second cat MAY be helpful, but it also may rock the boat a little too much. If she seems overall content, I don’t think you should feel like you NEED to get a playmate, but it’s something to consider. I would believe they probably sell very cheap cat food which is probably bad quality. the best places to buy quality cat foods are either on the internet or in pet shops. good brands include: Orijen, Evovle, Blue buffalo and accana.

You will have to check at your local store what is available, however what you are describing sounds like a round worm. This often looks like spaghetti. I suggest you look up 'round work' on the internet and if this looks like the type of worm it is, make sure you get a product that covers round worms. Most routine dewormers will for cats. The other common type of worm are tape-worms that have little segments. Milbemax is a good broad-spectrum dewormer. Best of luck with Metro.
