I would calculate around 1,434 kCal per day for an active dog of Molly's weight that is in ideal body condition. The calculation is a starting point and some dogs need more food while others need less. As long as Molly's body condition is ideal and she is not overweight I'd recommend limiting treats to 10% or less of the diet, which for her would be up to about 40 treats.

In general, using a high quality brand is the best way to assure that Bear Bear's coat is healthy. Brands that I typically recommend include Science Diet, Purina ProPlan and Royal Canin because these companies conduct extensive clinical studies and analyses regarding their foods and source ingredients appropriately. Continue feeding Bear Bear puppy food until he is 1 year old, then gradually transition to an adult dog food. Anytime you make a diet change, be sure to do so by gradually mixing old and new foods together over 5-7 days. Bathing every 2-4 weeks in a gentle oatmeal based dog shampoo can also be beneficial. If he seems to have dry skin, an omega 3 fatty acid supplement (such as Welactin) can be beneficial. Also, make sure that he is receiving a high quality flea and tick preventative (such as Nexgard, Bravecto or Advantix) regularly.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Dom is adorable! I think that if he consistently eats the Crave then I would feed him that. I know it is pricey but it may save you in the long run from buying all different types of food to tempt him. Look for pet stores that offer discounts or a frequent buyers program. Look online for cheaper prices. The other option is to buy one food and stick it out. Put it down and if he refuses to eat with in a period of time remove it. Try again next meal time. Healthy dogs usually do not chose starvation and will eventually eat. It may take 3 days. You can try adding water at the 3 day mark. Personally I would buy what he likes. I hope this helps and I wish yo u and Dom the best!

Hi there and thanks for posting on Boop by Petco! Yes, there are some good low calorie treats called "Tricky Trainers"which are only 3kcal/treat. They taste very good and smell good too! My dogs at home go bonkers for them. I hope this helps and best of luck!

Poor Gummy Bear. I am concerned about him, and without seeing him in person, I can't say it will be ok to wait until tomorrow. Due to that, I think it's best to get him checked out now with the ER vet.
