The chia pet plant is not toxic to cats so if Cid were to ingest / chew on the plant, he should be fine. It would probably be best to not allow Cid to chew / eat the plant to prevent any GI upset. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions / concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

I recommend to have Chub examined by the veterinarian again. When pets don't respond to treatment as expected, it often means the real underlying cause of the illness has not be discovered. Chub will likely need some diagnostics like bloodwork and checking her bladder for infection. It's possible these symptoms are not related but you need diagnostics to know. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Cats are weird creatures! It is common for cats to chew on non-food items, though you should be careful about keeping things picked up because they can swallow things that can cause internal harm or intestinal blockage. However, it may be a good idea to have him examined by a vet to make sure there isn’t a medical reason for this. Here is some more information: http://www.catster.com/lifestyle/pica-in-cats-eating-disorder Who said cats can’t taste sweets?? They can taste a lot of different things, and will have preferences for different flavors. I would avoid offering them many seeets, though, since it can contribute very quickly to obesity and could cause an upset stomach. Remember, one bite of sweet food for them would be like you eating 15 of them at once!

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Cheech. I recommend that he sees his veterinarian. From your pictures, he appears to have significant gingivitis. This will make tooth brushing painful for him. He will likely need to go under anesthesia for a dental cleaning. Drooling most commonly results from oral pain or nausea. I hope this information helps!
