The original is still the best. There are generic versions, however I found them unreliable. The price difference is not huge, so I suggest you invest in the original Feliway spray from CEVA. Check on line (search for ) "Compare prices for Feliway spray". You can also start leaving out the carrier with the door open, put a nice bed in it and feed her near it at first, moving the food closer and closer and finally feeding her in the carrier. This will also take some anxiety away. When driving in the car, cover the carrier, so the cat cannot look out the window, as this is really scary for a cat as she cannot understand why everything passes her by so fast.

I would recommend using the Feliway products, which can be found online or at your local PetCo. You can also try NaturVet Quiet Moments Calm Chews with Melatonin which can also be found online or at your local PetCo and see if this helps calm her. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions and I would be more than happy to help you further. Please remember to rate this answer as helpful or not. Thank you!

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I would ask your Veterinarian for an oral sedative for you to give 2 hours before travel. I would use the Feliway spray in his carriage. Once you arrive at your new home, he should be kept in a room by himself away from the other animals for a week then use a baby gate at the door for the him to see and greet the other cat and dog. Do that for a week, then remove the gate. be sure he has access to this room to run away if he needs to. This room can be your bedroom. Use the Feliway diffuser in this room. If there is aggression between the cats use the Feliway Multicat I wish you the best! https://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=37241 https://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=37240 https://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=37242

Hi, thabks for using Boop by Petco! What medicine are you using? I would recommend prozac and Feliway diffusers. I would also use the environmental enrichment ideas in the link below. Good luck! https://indoorpet.osu.edu/sites/indoorpet/files/assets/documents/Herron10_EE_for_Indoor_Cats.pdf

The only air "fresheners" we worry about with cats are essential oils. I've included more information about that below. http://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/blog/essential-oils-cats/ Any other air fresheners are fine unless your cat has asthma or is sensitive to certain scents. Don't forget that cats' sense of smell is much better than ours, so an air freshener that is too strong can actually deter a cat from wanting to go in the room with it. The most important thing in keeping the room smelling good is scooping the litter box at least once daily and cleaning the entire thing (changing the litter completely) at least once weekly. I also noticed that you have Creamcicle listed at unneutered. Getting him neutered will also decrease the odor of his urine which might be helpful. Good luck! I hope that was helpful and answered your question. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
