Young dogs such as Darby get excited about lots of things including other dogs. Be patient, you are doing the right thing offering her a treat to distract her. Try a tastier treat such as a piece of hot dog. Also she's at the age when obedience training in a group setting would help her get used to listening to you when there are other dogs and distractions around. This behavior is annoying but probably not aggression. Make sure you have good control when walking and remember she is young and with training and as she grows up this should improve. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for Darby.

I certainly understand and sympathize with your situation. I see that Max is only 1 year old. I added a puppy to my house 2 years ago and was shocked at how much energy he had. From what you have told me in your question, it sounds like Max is having episodes of not being able to control his energy and is playing inappropriately. My dog also does this. The best solution I have is to find ways to keep Max busy and tired. One thing that people think of first is treats that keep them busy for a longer period of time. This does seem to help. You can use long lasting treats like a Kong filled with peanut butter, yogurt, treats, etc and frozen so it takes longer for him to eat. My dog also really like Bully Sticks which I also freeze to make them last a little longer. Keep him mentally and physically busy during meal times. I love using a feeding balls like a Buster Cube or Tricky Treat ball to feed meals in. It keeps him busy for at least 5-10 minutes at each meal and requires him

I expect Crazy is very ill with these values. If this value just happened due to a toxic episode or infection aggressively treating with intravenous fluids and medications for several days may prevent permanent kidney damage. That would require hospitalization. If this is a chronic problem that has been progressing the outcome is not good. You can give fluids and a prescription kidney diet but in my experience these dogs unfortunately do not get better. I hope you can treat Crazy and that he responds. Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I lovingly refer to these episodes as “the zoomies”. Almost all dogs have them at some time or another. They happen more often in puppies and young adults but can happen at any age. Even though Chewy may seem like he is suddenly possessed, it’s a good outlet of energy and good exercise. So if it’s not hurting or bothering anyone, let him at it. In fact, excitedly running outside with him to let him tear it up outside is great too. A video of the zoomies for your enjoyment. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=64X4cuAR2fI Best of luck to you and Chewy.

I strongly recommend a full health check, urine test and possibly an ultrasound scan of the bladder to rule out infection, inflammation or bladder stones which may be causing discomfort, partial blockage of the bladder neck and pain. The earlier these conditions are diagnosed the easier they are to resolve
