Where do I get cat flavored meds?
You will need to have flavored medications made at a special pharmacy called a compounding pharmacy. Your vet may know of a local compounding pharmacy that may make flavored medications, so I would check with them. Hi. So sorry its tough to give those medications. I would still treat both. There are a couple options. You could put the medicine on wet food, but you have to make sure they eat it all and all at once. You could ask your veterinarian if they could tey a pill form. Or you could ask them to compound it in to a.flavored medication ( tuna, chicken, etc). Good luck

Ask your vet to have the Amitriptyline compounded into a liquid or a transdermal gel. The transdermal gel is absorbed directly into the skin so you don't have to give anything by mouth. Thanks for using Boop by Petco! There are a few medications for appetite stimulation but my preferred ones are mirtazapine and Entyce. However, the best thing to improve appetite is to find out what is causing the appetite to be low and treat it.
