Hi my cat speedy 6yrs old had really bad crystals earlier this year and pdsa put him on on specific crystal management food. Is there any other food brands I can use? His last weighing weight was 4.5kg.

I agree that high quality ingredients are important. However, it is equally important that these ingredients are combined appropriately and in the right proportions to give the best nutrition. For this reason, I support companies that have board certified veterinary nutritionists on staff and perform feeding trials in live animals as opposed to simple laboratory analysis. I like Purina ProPlan, Royal Canin and Hill's Science Diet. They are will have each have a variety of flavors and formulas that would be appropriate for him. I hope this information helps!

Lilly looks like a young adult and if you want to feed her the same urinary diet as your other cat that is absolutely fine. Otherwise I like Hill's, Royal Canin, Iams and Purina brands of foods. My cat is on CD Urinary care(dry) food and he is frequently puking, a few times a week. Sometimes it is food and other times it's dark liquid. He is 12yo and he in on this food due to a urinary blockage years ago.
That is a good food. Often cats eat too fast and vomit up semi digested food. I recommend switching to C/D canned or giving both canned and dry. Often with canned food there will be less vomiting and the food will still be effective to prevent crystals. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for Spike.
