Diamond dry food is fine to feed. You can use low sodium chicken broth to soften the food. Apply the broth and just let it sit on the food for about 5-10 minutes before feeding to allow it to expand the food before she eats it. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Some quality food brands that would be good options for Daisy include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, and Purina One. All of these brands have good quality canned and dry options. Thanks for using Boop by Petco!

As she is overweight you need to switch to the light version of that food and feed her according to the instructions on the food label. this is a link to this food: https://www.diamondpet.com/our-brands/diamond-naturals/light-adult-dog-lamb-meal-rice-formula/

Thank you for contacting Boop by Petco with your question about Skyler. Great question! I recommend Royal Canin Small Adult 8+ dry dog food. This helps maintain a healthy weight, has small, highly palatable kibble, and enhanced palatability. I would feed this to her. I hope this helps!

While chicken necks can be a part of a balanced diet, feeding them as the entire diet is not healthy in the long run. Choose a good quality senior formula dry food. Stay away from store or discount brands. these typically contain lower quality ingredients and more fillers. An "All Life Stages" food is also an option, especially if you have more than one dog. Brands include Wholehearted ( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/brand/wholehearted/dog/dog-food/dry-dog-food ), Natural Balance, Canidae and Orijen.
